EDUCATION SPONSORSHIP
Working together with local families we encourage them to give opportunities to their children to receive education. MAO is gratefull to be able to help in different casses where financial rescources are the only hindrance to see a young life changing. The wealth of the community is their people and if we can have a part in championing the next generation, it will bring development for families and their community as a whole.
HEALTH EDUCATION
The rural areas are often in great need of medical suppport. Its our privilege to be able to bring that more and more to these communities. Basic health education, and basic medical support are a great help in health and hygiene for the people to understand and apply it in their families.
EMERGENCY RELIEF
Receiving donations from many clients made it possible to support communities that had been severely hit by the flood last year and the recent earthquake. These two natural disasters have hit many communities in southern shan state. Being able to bring some relief to them was like a cup of water in the dessert. These communities have to face longterm rebuilding their lives again. We as MAO are thankfull we could bring some relief to the victims.
ENVIRONMENTAL CARE
MAO initiated a partnership with Trash Hero Myanmar and launched the Trash Hero chapter, arranging cleanups. While exploring beautiful natural site, we discovered that many from the community shared our love of nature, we help the local rural communities to understand the need of a clean natural environment. And together bring a change by having all involved in cleaning up their surroundings.
